Animals are everywhere,
In the sea or in the air, in the wild or in our care, they’re awesome. Animals are all around. In the trees and in the ground, anywhere they can be found, they’re awesome. Furry, feathered, slimy, scaly, fuzzy. Quiet, howling, singing, calling, buzzy. Flying, hopping, swimming, crawling, walking. Barking, roaring, laughing, snorting, talking. All around the world, animals are awesome. All around the world, animals are awesome. All around the world, animals are awesome. All around the world, animals are awesome, oh! Awesome animals! Animals are ev’rywhere. Some are here and some are there, living in this world we share, they’re awesome. Animals are here to stay. All around us ev’ry day, in our lives and that’s okay, they’re awesome. Awesome animals! Awesome animals! Awesome animals! Awesome animals! Awesome! |

Senor Don Gato (Mr. Cat)
Oh Señor Don Gato was a cat
On a high, red roof Don Gato sat
He went there to read a letter (meow meow meow)
Where the reading light was better (meow meow meow)
‘Twas a love note for Don Gato
“I adore you,” wrote the lady cat
Who was fluffy, white, and nice and fat
There was not a prettier kitty (meow meow meow)
In the country or the city (meow meow meow)
And she said she’d wed Don Gato!
Well Don Gato leapt so happily
He fell off the roof and broke his knee
He broke his nose and all his whiskers (meow meow meow)
And his little solar plexus (meow meow meow)
“¡Ay, caramba!” cried Don Gato
All the doctors came in a rush
Just to see if something could be done
And they held a consultation (meow meow meow)
About how to save their patient (meow meow meow)
About how to save Don Gato
In spite of everything the doctors tried
Poor Señor Don Gato up and died
And it wasn’t very merry (meow meow meow)
Heading to the cemetery (meow meow meow)
For the ending of Don Gato
As the funeral passed the market square
Such a smell of fish was in the air
And though the burial was slated (meow meow meow)
He became reanimated (meow meow meow)
He came back to life, Don Gato!

And his little solar plexus (meow meow meow)
“¡Ay, caramba!” cried Don Gato

Christmas Song: I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas
Only a hippopotamus will do Don't want a doll, no dinky Tinker Toy I want a hippopotamus to play with and enjoy I want a hippopotamus for Christmas I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you? He won't have to use our dirty chimney flue Just bring him through the front door, that's the easy thing to do I can see me now on Christmas morning, creeping down the stairs Oh what joy and what surprise when I open up my eyes to see a hippo hero standing there I want a hippopotamus for Christmas Only a hippopotamus will do No crocodiles, no rhinoceroses I only like hippopotamuses And hippopotamuses like me too Mom says the hippo would eat me up, but then Teacher says a hippo is a vegetarian. (Short Music Interlude) There's lots of room for him in our two-car garage I'd feed him there and wash him there and give him his massage I can see me now on Christmas morning, creeping down the stairs Oh what joy and what surprise when I open up my eyes to see a hippo hero standing there I want a hippopotamus for Christmas Only a hippopotamus will do No crocodiles or rhinoceroseses I only like hippopotamuseses And hippopotamuses like me too! |
